Those of you who are familiar with Realistic war shooter Arma II will know just how beautiful and massive the game's only map is, 256 sq KM of open terrain dotted with small villages to massive towns and industrial parks. Now add Zombies to the equation! DayZ is a mod currently in Alpha testing and has exploded in popularity. A massive persistent world where you have nothing but a pistol and a few supplies, you have to scavenge around the various settlements looking for food, water, guns and ammo and even scattered vehicles, you know, all the essentials to survive a zombie apocalypse.. go lone wolf or team up with friends and form a fighting force to increase you chances of survivability. You can even lure other players to help you and then murder them for their supplies!

I think a bunch of us should get this... although you need to buy Arma II and the Expansion pack Arrowhead in order to install this mod... I suggest you guys watch these videos to get a glimpse of how much fun this game can be.

With the release of Diablo 3 and soon Guildwars 2 , some people (like myself) will be swamped with outstanding games to play... Arma 3 is to be released this year and DayZ will migrate to the new engine (and map). Thought this may take upto a year to be done, so rushing into Dayz in its current form may not be wise. Your call.
